The Turning Point: Amy’s Introduction to GDM

It all started in June 2024, when Amy met the GDM team during a three-day business trip. Invited by the GDM Sales & Marketing Department, she immersed herself in the company’s vision.

On the final day, a two-hour conversation with a GDM marketing team member, sparked her entrepreneurial spirit. She learned that GDM had grown to 200,000 users in just 14 months, driven by its scalable, tech-powered, and systematic approach. For Amy, this was a game-changer that fueled her motivation.

Years ago, while working at Amway, she realized that just as a great singer needs the right stage, ambitious goals need the right platform to thrive and grow. GDM, with its innovative approach and strong foundation, was exactly that. Just three days after the trip, she was fully committed to GDM! Within the next 10 days, she became GDM’s first affiliate, and she hasn’t looked back since.

Amy views GDM as a groundbreaking alternative to collision and comprehensive coverage, especially in these challenging economic times. While the U.S. economy is expected to grow in 2025, inflation continues to rise, and auto insurance costs are climbing, pushing many drivers to consider dropping their collision and comprehensive coverage to manage expenses. That’s where GDM steps in with a smarter option.

For example, when a driver enrolls in GDM’s Mutuality Plan with a $1,000 semi-annual quote and contributes 20% as a service fee on day one of joining, while the remaining 80% stays with the member, not being charged yet. If another member experiences an accident, each member in the community shares a small, approved portion of their 80% remaining pledge balance in order to contribute to the necessary repair cost.

The same sharing support from the community is available to them if necessary. With 94% of drivers statistically remaining accident-free, some accident-free members may save up to 40%. In this example the member would have saved $400, having only paid $600 from their original quote over the 6-month period.

Amy didn’t stop at her own success. She also actively encouraged leadership within her team, inspiring others to take charge and embrace responsibility.

Small Steps, Big Impact: Driving Lasting Change

Amy’s success didn’t come by chance — it’s the result of years of experience and her remarkable journey.

Growing up, Amy believed academic success was the key to achievement. Though she didn’t make it into China’s top universities, she graduated from Sun Yat-sen University, a top 10 institution in China, with a degree in administration and political economy.

After graduation, Amy dove into the business world, starting at a private enterprise with over 2,000 employees. Within a year, her dedication earned her a promotion to department manager. She continued growing in leadership roles within telecommunications and an arts group in the company. These experiences taught her that youth is an asset, and success belongs to those who chase and seize opportunities.

During a period of decline in the private sector, Amy, with only elementary business English, boldly applied for a position at Standard Chartered Bank, a job requiring advanced-level business English. She got the job, but that was just the beginning. Realizing she needed to catch up with her peers, she devoted much of her free time to studying business growth. Her hard work paid off — within six months, she was promoted to director of the credit card and private wealth management departments.

A health issue unexpectedly led Amy into the direct sales industry, where she joined Amway, “World's Number-One Direct Selling Company.” Here, she thrived in a faith-driven culture based on the philosophy of “helping others to help yourself.” She shared her knowledge with colleagues, built strong teams, and quickly rose to sales manager. This experience also gave her a profound understanding of the importance of choosing the right platform for success.

After six years of growth at Amway, Amy found herself at another crossroads. Driven by the belief that opportunity waits for no one, she founded her own direct sales company, Anmei International. Though the company eventually closed, the lessons she learned in management, leadership, and entrepreneurship have shaped her into the resilient leader she is today, fueling her ongoing journey with GDM.

Looking Ahead: A Future with GDM

Amy recently completed her first Mutuality Plan cycle with GDM. Thanks to her safe driving habits, she saved $242.65 — 70% off the original quote of $328.51. This not only underscores her careful driving but also proves that GDM truly delivers savings for its members.

Without hesitation, Amy renewed her plan. What’s even more rewarding is seeing those she introduced to GDM save too. She feels proud knowing she made the right choice.

Her goal is clear: to help her team achieve the pinnacle of success — L8 status — and show that with GDM, the sky's the limit.
