Solvd's network includes more than 2,700 collision repair shops across the United States, serving most major cities and nearby communities. Members can usually find at least one participating shop within about 25 miles, depending on location.
Each shop follows consistent standards to help ensure reliable, high-quality repairs.
Quality and Oversight
Solvd evaluates every repair facility against established industry benchmarks. Each shop is expected to maintain skilled technicians, modern tools, and up-to-date processes.
Typical requirements include:
Certifications such as I-CAR Gold Class, which requires a shop to employ and maintain a set number of I-CAR Platinum-certified technicians.
Possess the necessary tools and equipment to perform most, if not all, repair procedures.
Multiple OEM Certifications are desired.
Meet minimum business and liability insurance requirements.
Solvd reviews shop performance monthly using measurable key indicators. Shops that do not meet standards may be removed from the network.
How the Process Works
Once you report an incident through the GDC app and eligibility is confirmed:
GDC shares nearby options from Solvd's network.
You choose the shop that best fits your needs from the GDC partner shop list your Specialist provides.
GDC assigns the repair, and Solvd communicates repair standards to the shop.
Your GDC Auto Damage Specialist stays in touch, providing updates as repairs move forward.
Lifetime Repair Warranty
Solvd provides a national lifetime warranty on repair quality, valid for as long as you own your vehicle. Solvd supports this warranty through its continuous program oversight.
Towing and Storage Support
Solvd also negotiates towing and storage charges when needed, which helps lower the overall cost of each incident.
