GDM operates like a community where safe drivers share their vehicle repair costs in the event of an accident.

Your quote is divided as follows: 20% goes toward the service fee on day one, and the remaining 80% is your pledge amount, which is used for weekly sharing if there are eligible events. Since we only charge small amounts when accidents occur, drivers with no accidents may save up to 40% of their quote by the end of the plan period.

It's important to note that when an eligible event occurs, the member involved in the accident will first use their out-of-pocket amount (the amount selected when joining GDM) along with the remaining pledge balance. Any remaining costs are then shared among other members. In this case, members will spend no more than their pledge amount (80% of the original quote).
