
6. When am I allowed to submit a sharing request?
The loss of the planned vehicle must result from an unintentional incident causing sudden, direct, and accidental damage, including:
Collision Losses: Overturning or colliding with another vehicle or object.
Comprehensive Losses: Natural disasters such as hurricanes, hail, floods, fire, theft, vandalism, animal impacts, and glass damage.
Additional Services: GDM offers reimbursement for transportation expenses and towing fees incurred due to the loss of vehicle usage resulting from any of the above events. To qualify for transportation reimbursement, receipts from nationally recognized rental companies or Uber/Lyft are required.
The damage occurs to a vehicle listed in the Mutuality Plan.
The incident takes place during the Effective Period of the Mutuality Plan and is reported to the GDM within 365 days of its occurrence.
The driver involved in the incident, if any, must be the member, a listed driver or a permitted driver.
